Foundation Causes
UnstoppABLE
In March 2020 the Color Street Foundation released the set UnstoppABLE to support Developmental Disability awareness. My heart was touched, my soul moved, and I decided to join Color Street as a stylist.
Why was my heart so affected?
Christy Lynne Travis is why. Because of a severe reaction to infant immunizations, my niece was left severely brain-damaged. She was never able to feed herself, bathe or cloth herself, or care for her most basic needs. What she was able to do was love her family unconditionally without a spoken word. Her whole life was lived surrounded by those who loved and cherished her.
I thank Color Street for raising awareness and acknowledging this underserved population.
Since the formation of the Color Street Foundation in more than $6.8 million has been donated to 87 charity partners during 57 awareness campaigns.
Color Street is a National Signature Partner for the March of Dimes, March for Babies. They have donated $1 million to that cause.
